Polaroids in Brooklyn

Julie VanDore has been taking photographs for over 25 years, and has always been moved by how the medium distills the world around us. She shot almost entirely black and white film through 2007, when she went digital.

In 2010, she rediscovered her love for chemical processes via some retro instant cameras, and the Impossible Project, who are reformulating instant film using Polaroid's discarded equipment.

She loves to travel and has taken many images from various locales.
