Ellen Hoffman was born in New York City, and studied at the Art Students League and Parsons School of Design. She has exhibited throughout the New York area and the East coast, with solo exhibitions at SOHO20 Chelsea Gallery, the Bronx Museum, The Edward Williams Gallery at Fairleigh Dickinson University and the Broome Street Gallery, among others.
